2012 Rose Parade Opening presented by Wells Fargo The 2012 Rose Parade opening is sure to delight, uplift, inspire and impress. The celebration begins with an enormous, street-spanning pair of gates laden with bouquets that open majestically to make way for the extravaganza that awaits on the other side. Just imagine the wonder and the spell we'll all be under – the beauty of the Rose Parade! Floral “torches” laden with flowers, breath-taking dancers dressed beautifully in rose-themed outfits, grand cadences punctuated by colorful confetti launches and awe-inspiring pyro blasts are all blended with a few surprises to create a view that can only be described as “quintessentially grandiose.” All choreographed to the original song, “Just Imagine,” composed for this grand event, the dancers and group fill Orange Grove Boulevard making way for the 2012 theme float presented by Wells Fargo that announces the official start of the 123rd Rose Parade. The opening events conclude with the awe-inspiring B2 Spirit Bomber soaring overhead as American Honda’s float entry, “Sweet Dreams” commences the beginning of the line-up of the amazing entries participating in the 2012 Rose Parade.
